Life is dynamic, and so are your financial needs. Whether you've switched banks, closed an account, or simply want to refine your financial strategy, there are various reasons why you might find it necessary to remove a bank account from your Finfare Money profile.
In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps of changing your default bank account and deleting a bank account from Finfare, empowering you to effortlessly align your financial preferences with your evolving circumstances.
Let's explore the proper way to add a default bank account to your payment settings and then delete any unneeded bank account(s).
Step 1 - Login to Finfare
- Login to Finfare
- Click your initials in the top right corner
- Click Settings
- Select Banking from the left menu
Step 2 - Setting Up Autopay with a Specific Bank
- Click the Payments tab (from within the Banking page)
- Underneath, "Which account should we use for Autopay?", select the correct bank account
- There is no "save" button. It will automatically save your selection.

Step 3 - Deleting Your Bank Account
- Click back to the Bank Accounts tab within the Banking page
- Find the account you would like to delete from the list
- Click the edit icon
- Click the delete button
- Click Disconnect Bank Account
And that should do it!
NOTE: If your delete button is grayed out, you're trying to delete your default bank account. You'll need to select an alternate bank account as your default before deleting this account.
